We begin from Enugu state, where the state Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has secured his reelection for the second term.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) declared Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi winner of the 2019 gubernatorial election with wide margin.
INEC Collation Officer and Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Professor Joseph Ahaneku made the declaration after collation of all the results from the seventeen Local Government councils in the state.
Earlier, Ahaneku gave more details on the performance and scores of all the forty two political parties and candidates who had participated in the elections.
According to the result released by INEC, the People’s Democratic Party won the elections with 449,935 votes, while the All Progressives Congress got the second position with 10,423 votes.
Meanwhile, many political party agents at the collation center including PDP, APC signed and endorsed the outcome of the election.
